7/2024 AB1955 Trans Youth Bill

Prohibits school districts from requiring staff to share information with parents about a student's gender identity or sexual orientation and will also shield teachers from being disciplined for teaching state-mandating sexual education.  The intent of this bill is to protect trans children from abuse by abusive parents.  Under previous California law, teachers were required to report abuse of a student, regardless of their gender identity, etc.  This bill assumes all parents will be abusive or not support a child's sexual orientation.

California government doesn't want The People to audit them.
