9/2022 AB2098 Medical Misinformation Bill
This bill was passed by California lawmakers in order to fight medical misinformation during the Covid Pandemic. It prevented medical doctors from discussing the downside of COVID vaccines as well as alternative treatments. Doctors were only allowed to discuss CDC guidelines and recommendations. Luckily, this bill was found unconstitutional and was struck down by a federal judge.

7/2024 AB1955 Trans Youth Bill
Prohibits school districts from requiring staff to share information with parents about a student's gender identity or sexual orientation and will also shield teachers from being disciplined for teaching state-mandating sexual education. The intent of this bill is to protect trans children from abuse by abusive parents. Under previous California law, teachers were required to report abuse of a student, regardless of their gender identity, etc. This bill assumes all parents will be abusive or not support a child's sexual orientation.​

2024 AB1432 Audit Homeless spending Bill Vetoed by Govornor Newsome
In 2024, California's state auditor requested and conducted an audit that revealed the state had failed to consistently track its homelessness spending and was not adequately positioned to collect data or assess the effectiveness of its programs. Several California Assembly Bills were introduced in response to this audit, aiming to improve transparency and accountability in state-funded homelessness programs. California government doesn't want The People to audit them.
